This is the Siver’s younger brother. Seems to have the same benefits for a cheapear price. More tips are included in the basic pack (unless you compare it with the advanced bundle). Almost same machine, without a screen (although it does come with a different simpler display) with same power source and same highlights.
MICRODERMA GLO S is an amazing option if you want an affordable DermaPen. As we said before, they offer a refund if you are not satisfied with the results after the first few Dermabrasion sessions.
This MicroNeedling device has, by far, the best design on the market. We were impressed by it, as soon as we opened the box. It feels like a product you just got from Apple or Sony or any high tech brand.
After the first use, we could witness how supper efficient it is, at removing blackheads (I know, a bit gross). Also, it’s really good at evening your different skin tones.

Microderm GLO MINI Diamond Microdermabrasion: The most affordable dermapen machine on the market
Yes, third time we choose this brand. We might sound like a broken record, but Microderm GLO is just amazing. Not only because of the results, but also because of how it looks, and how easy it is to use it.
The GLO MINI is basically the most affordable reliable DermaPen Microneedling machine on the market. And that’s why we had to include it on our list.
This version is cheaper than the other 2, but it has almost the same technical features and that’s why we think is an amazing dermapen.
Last but not least, this is probably our favorite pic, providing you are on a budget.

Diamond Microneedling: How do most DermaPen devices work?
It might look like a complex procedure, but it’s not. Microneedlig (or DermaPen) is about puncturing small holes in your skin. It basically consists of small needles touching your skin. This treatment encourages your skin to produce more natural collagen, which will make your skin look fresher and younger.
It’s a fast treatment, shouldn’t be painful (if it is, then you should stop using it) and the results are amazing.
This devices (all DermaPen brands use the same technology) will clean your skin, erase dark spots and make your skin tones more even. It also improves the appearance of scars, acne marks, stretch marks, and wrinkles.
It may cause a bit of redness after each session, and some discomfort is also expected, buy nothing to worry about. It will heal up quickly. The needles are harmless and don’t work on deep skin layers.
Is DermaPen the same as microneedling?
Yes. Actually Derma Pen is a MicroNeedling brand, that we don’t recommend in this post because its devices are basically not the best on the market. We tried them, and taking all the factors into account, those didn’t make it to the top 4 ranking.
IS DERMAPEN SAFE?
Yes. Super safe. It only works on the most superficial layers of your derm. Think of it as a powerful cleaning exfoliating brush. It’s basically that.
Is Dermapen the same as DR. Pen?
Again, yes. DR. Pen happens to be another brand. Not a bad one. But still, didn’t make it to this post. Microderm seems to be, by bar, the best option on the market. Way more powerful than DR. Pen and DermaPen itself.
I know, unbelievable. But we tried them all, and we witness this with out own eyes (or skins haha).
Is there a professional DermaPen MicroNeedling Device?
Not really. Although it might be helpful to try any of these brands with a professional dermatologist. It’s good to know exactly where to apply the treatment.
A professional would also know when to stop or keep pressing.
But that doesn’t mean that you have to be a professional to learn how to use a DermaPen or that those skills can’t be taught. As any other treatment or medical-beauty procedure, it just takes time to get the hang of it.
Another important thing to say, is that despite the fact Derma Pen devices are for home use, that doesn’t mean that the results are not great. In fact, many users admit postponing surgery or more invasive treatment after getting a few MicroNeedling sessions.
Is DermaPEN the same thing as radiofrequency RF?
No, it’s not. Although the aim of the treatment is pretty much the same one, which is collagen production stimulation, there are many differences.
RadioFrequency RF machines work with electrical waves, whilst Dermapen uses micro needles. They both want the same outcome, but they use different technologies.
IS DERMAPEN MICRONEEDLING the same thing as HIFU?
Again, same objective (collagen production stimulation), different technology.
While DermaPen uses micro needles to puncture your skin, HIFU use ultrasounds. By the way, HIFU is a bit more intense, if not way more intense treatment and it should be applied by professionals in most cases.

How about Hifu (Hifu 3d & Hifu 4d) Facial Rejuvenation? HOW DO these machines work?
The purpose of the Hifu technology is to tighten the skin using high intensity focused ultrasound.

What are the main differences between these 2 and Dermapen Microneedling devices?
DermaPen devices are micro needling devices. It’s a simple mechanic procedure where your skin reacts to this automated “micro needle brush”.
Radiofrequency and HIFU machines, are a bit more complicated to explain. The technology they use, is far more complex. The outcome, pretty similar in some cases.
The main difference between Radiofrequency devices and HIFU machines relies on the temperature and the depth of the treatment.
Both work amazingly well for weight loss and facial skin rejuvenation. They both try to encourage our skin, to increase the production of natural collagen. The aim is the same, tighter and smoother skin, with less fat, lest wrinkles and younger feel.
Ultrasound machines such as HIFU, target deeper layers of the skin and they work with higher temperatures than RF machines.
Best Radiofrequency machines on the market work with temperatures between 45 to 50º degrees ( centigrades). RF reaches 3.0 millimetres aprox. On the other hand, HIFU Ultrasound machines work with temperatures around 70 degrees ( on average ) and they can reach as deep as 16.0 mm beneath the top layers of our skin.
Although, we have to say, the most common HIFU cartridges are 3.0 and 4.5 mm.
This explains why ultrasound treatments are a bit more intense and painful. None of them are invasive, but HIFU is more powerful.
